Ilie Nastase (Nasti)

Charismatic character and world sports icon was born in Bucharest on 19 July 1946. Its incredible tennis ascent led him to the first position in the world in 1973 in singles and among the first ones in doubles with his companion and compatriot Ion Tiriac.

The numbers of Nastase are: 57 titles in singles and 51 in doubles, including two Grand Slams tours -US Open in singles in 1972 and Roland Garros in 1973, Roland Garros in doubles in 1970( with Ion Tiriac ), 1973 Wimbledon (with Jimmy Connors), 1975 U.S. Open (with Jimmi Connors) and four editions of Masters in singles in 1971-1972-1973-1975.

His whimsical game combined with an exuberant character have made him more than a sportsman, also a required person for various television shows, commercials and sporting events for veterans.

Il suo gioco estroso unito ad un carattere esuberante ne hanno fatto oltre che un campione sportivo anche un personaggio richiesto per le più disparate trasmissioni televisive, pubblicità ed eventi sportivi per veterani.
